This Sunday in London’s fashionable Brick Lane will be The Pop Up Fashion Market a trendy ‘bazaar’ which will present new and emerging fashion designers and ultra creative businesses from fashion, accessories designers to beauty products and artists. Brick Lane is über cool with design companies such as Wale Adeyemi holding their offices of the infamous market lane. It is a place of raw creativity and where new businesses find the opportunity to test out their ideas as well as being known for the many Indian restaurants and Asian culture stores and fabric stores and the popular Petticoat Lane which hosts an array of African fabric stores such as Middlesex Textiles. Brick Lane is a gem of a place right near to the busy city offices of Liverpool Street.

The Pop Up market event has been organised by PR, Events and Marketing company Votre Avant Garde (VAG) along in collaboration with FAB Magazine and was created as an off-shoot from their annual CamerCouture Fashion Showcase. It should see many new and regular visitors turn up at this buzzing area all with an open mind to fashion and crafts.

One of the brands appearing at this event will be the talented young lady Asake Agoro who launched the label Asakeoge which has already received a lot of press and interest.

This unique label with its original fresh designs has a growing clientele and drawn attention and interest from Africa, Europe and the Americas. It was runner-up in the African Tourism Awards in London UK in it’s first year and subsequently won Best Female Fashion Designer 2011 beating other well known designers.

The AsaokeOge philosophy and style revisits their bestselling silhouettes which encapsulates a woman’s everyday needs – the modern day woman who requires clothes to take her from work to evening events and more. AsakeOge will also be attending the exciting luxury multi-day event Africa Fashion Week New York (AFWNY) on July 14th to Saturday July 16th, 2011, hosted by Adiree Fashion Agency and created with the sole purpose of raising awareness of African Fashion.
